The Grit & Spunk Impact Lab took shape during a career gap when we paused to reassess our skills, passions, and purpose. In that season of reflection, one truth became clear: our future belonged in social impact. Learning that millions of girls remain out of school and seeing how women’s empowerment, health, and opportunities are all deeply connected to education stirred something in us. We recognized that our voice and storytelling could help drive meaningful change. So, we began where we were, doing the good we could with what we had. That spark grew into a business, and thus,
the Grit & Spunk Impact Lab was born. Still, we knew we needed a clear message.
The approach would be to operate with the bold and clear focus that girls and women need to embrace ‘Grit and Spunk’ to harness opportunities and resources as they continue to fight to transform their realities and futures.
Through grit, spunk, and a relentless belief that resilience and hard work can transform futures, we help mission-driven organizations generate meaningful social change.
